The first TV Drama Writers’ Conference of East Asia, as the first meeting where top-class writers across East Asia gather together, served as an exchange plaza with the world’s competitive TV drama writers in the future in order to jointly develop the broadcasting contents across Asia. A total of around 70 writers from South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong including Kim Eunhee, who wrote ‘Winter Sonata’, Roh Heekyoung, who wrote ‘Good-bye Solo’ from Korea, Tsai Tsao-yu, who wrote ‘Judge, Pochengchen’, and Nakajono Miho, who wrote ‘An Elegant Lady’ from Japan, took part in the conference and had a discussion about the drama conditions in each country and how to cooperate with each other under the title of ‘The Homogeneity of Asian Culture Seen through TV Dramas.’
