Korean Wave’s Prospects and Tasks in the New Media Era

Korean Wave trends changing in line with the emergence of SNS and other environmental changes of the new media era were examined and policy measures and the Korean National Assembly’s role defined to raise the national brand of “Republic of Korea” as well as multiply the cultural and economic effect of the Korean Wave by continuously spreading it.

Conference for the Vitalization of Korean Wave Contents for its Global Advancement

The conference examined the Korean Wave fever spreading not only in Asia, but also Europe and Central and South America, and drew up measures to promote its advancement into the global market.

The forum was held to promote cooperation and cultural communication between Korea and China. It was jointly hosted by the Comparative Literature Research Center of Peking University, China, and the Center for Chinese Cultural Studies of Ewha Womans University, Korea, as a place to draw up new measures to build a cultural community in Northeast Asia.
