The U.S. Billboard recently turned the spotlight to Ga In of Brown Eyed Girls who appeared in the music video of PSY’s “Gentleman.”
On April 17 (local time), Billboard K-Town released an in-depth article on PSY’s co-star Ga In. Titled “Meet Ga In: PSY’s ‘Gentleman’ Music Video”, the article introduced Ga In’s career from her debut as a Brown Eyed Girls to her solo projects.
Billboard predicted that Ga In will soon receive global recognition. It praised PSY’s choice for casting her in the music video as the hip-swinging move is inspired by the choreography of Brown Eyed Girls’ hit song in 2009, “Abracadabra.”
It explained that despite Ga In’s “sexual nature” in PSY’s music video, Brown Eyed Girls debuted in 2006 without revealing themselves. At first, the group focused on R&B and ballads, but changed the genre to electronic music while emphasizing the girls’ sexy image.  
It praised Ga In’s performances as a solo singer, stating that she found “major success in late 2010 with a tango-inspired concept with her single ‘Irreversible.’” She continued her success with the album “Talk About S,” whose title track “Bloom” peaked at number 2 on the K-Pop Hot 100.
