Support for coverage of reporters of Middle East

• Reporters from Saudi Arabia and Iraq visited Korea in March 2010 for 9 days and 8 nights to cover traditional culture and cultural industry of Korea. Starting from visit to KOFICE on the first day, they visited G20 Summit Preparatory Committee, Samsung C & T Corporation, Korea Creative Content Agency, Korea Muslim Federation, Kyunghee Graduate School of Pan Pacific International Studies, Jeonju Hanok Village, Gyeongbok Palace, Insa-dong, National Museum of Korea, and Nami Island, etc, interviewed related persons, and broadened their recognition into culture and cultural industry of Korea. Through this opportunity, program on traditional culture and cultural industry of Korea is expected to be broadcasted in Middle East area, which is a kind of reclaimed-land of Hallyu, and thereby it is expected that Korea’s image as a cultural content powerhouse can get a boost.
