Invitation of Iran’s TV IRIB CH2

• By inviting Korean Culture Special Report Team of Iran’s TV IRIB CH2(Hereinafter called, “IRIB”), we supported covering of Korean culture during the period between July 16 and July 26. Drama ‘Dae Jang Geum’ which has been broadcasted once a week since October, 2006 (20:45, Friday) through TV IRIB CH2 was a great hit in Iran, recording the high viewing rate (80%). IRIB Special Report Team visited Korea for in-depth coverage of Korean culture and Hallyu fever in Asia in accordance with syndrome toward Korean drama in Iran.
  The IRIB Report Team was composed of the head Rezayat in charge of overseas programs, PD, camera man, announcer, et al. Starting from coverage of the Dae Jang Geum Park, they interviewed casts of ‘Dae Jang Geum’ and visited MBC, KBS, EBS; Wando and Naju which are drama location for ‘Emperor of The Sea’ and ‘Ju Mong’ respectively; National Central Museum, Ubiquitous Center of Ministry of Information and Communication to cover Korean drama, Korean culture, and Korea as an IT power.
