2013_Guidelines_for_Applicants_(Eng)(1).docKOFICE (Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange) is pleased to support various events of communities of Korean Culture to vitalize their development. We look forward to have your attention and applications until 3th March (Sun).
■ Supportive Subject
○ Korean culture related communities or fan clubs that regularly gather and throw events or plan activities in non-profit base.
○ Activities can be related to K-Pop, Korea Dramas Movies, Korean (language), etc.
■ Period of Supporting
○ March.2013 ~ November.2013
■ How to support (the means of sponsorship)
○ Event budget support
- Support 1~2 representative annual community events or regular base activities related to Korea culture.
- Amount of sponsorship will be approximately 4,000USD$ per each community.
※Support expenses such as venue rental fee, food cost, sound system rental fee, etc.
※ Amount of sponsorship can be different according to the event size.
○ Korea culture related contents support
※ Examples) K-Pop CD or DVD, Korea traditional accessories, etc.
■ Regulations
○ Plan the KOFICE supported events with abundant Korea culture contents to settle as representative annual activities of community.
※ Events must include more than one Korean culture-related program.
○ Promote positively the event before and after by PR tools like SNS or media.
○ Insert KOFICE logo in the event official poster and promotional material.
○ (Important) When KOFICE supported event is held, community must submit necessary documentaries in detail according to the below process.
- Before an event: Submit 1) Event plan form 2) Budget plan form
- After an event: Submit 1) Event result report 2) Cost report
※ Event photos should be submitted with event result report.
※All receipts should be submitted with cost report.
※ Each report forms will be delivered to only selected communities.
■ Evaluation Standards
○ When the applying period is over, evaluate all applications and select communities according to the below standard.
○ The evaluation standards are like below.

※ ‘Regular and continuous based community activities’ of Korean culture may be favorably evaluated.
☞ Example) K-Pop dance workshops, K-Pop singing class, K-Drama screenings, etc.
※ Making the event more influential by getting fund raising from partnerships with related organizations may be favorably evaluated.
☞ So-Loved community got various partnership like Korea Cultural Center Berlin, KBS World, Kyopo Shinmun(media) and made '2012 European K-Pop Awards' event effective.

○ Applying Period (In Korea standard time): 14.February. 2013 ~ 03.March. 2013

2) Detailed Activity Plan for 2012: In Free form (MS Word-max 2 pages / MS PowerPoint 5 slides)
