The Sapporo Snow Festival took place from February 7 to 13 (one week) and the K-POP Festival took place on the February 11 (Friday, public holiday) when the Festival was expected to attract the largest number of visitors. In contribution to UN Millennium Development Goals, all proceeds of this year’s K-POP Festival were donated to support the education of children in impoverished regions of Asia. The K-POP Festival will be covered by major media in Japan, including KBS Japan, HTB (Hokkaido Television Broadcasting), TVH (Television Hokkaido) and M-net Japan.
