The Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE, President: Young-jin Kwak) and Hankook University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the training of art and culture experts. The signing ceremony was held in Conference Room No. 203, at the Main Building of the university’s Seoul Campus (in Imun-dong).


In his speech, President Kwak said that he is “grateful for this opportunity to establish a cooperative relationship with HUFS.” He also suggested that the two institutions “extend their best efforts to achieve meaningful cooperation.” Meanwhile, President Kim promised that “HUFS will fulfill its responsibilities and roles for the development of and cooperation between the two institutions.”


Through the new memorandum, KOFICE and HUFS plan to carry out a number of joint projects to jointly develop curriculums, operate joint courses, carry out joint research projects, hold academic conferences, and implement PR activities aimed at promoting K-Wave overseas.
