  • 2010 Korea Japan Festival promotes mutual understanding between Korea and Japan through the exchange of popular culture. The Festival is co-hosted in Japan to promote the understanding of Korean culture in a nation that largely drives Hallyu. It establishes cooperative networks between important figures in the popular culture industries of the two nations. NHK aired a special on the Festival, which played a large role in fostering cultural exchange between Korea and Japan and in creating a favorable image.
