• Even though Mongolia treats Korea in an amicable manner and considers Korea as its model for development, it is not easy to access Korean popular culture in Mongolia. In consideration of this circumstance, ‘Korea-Mongolia Culture Festival Big Concert’ was held in an effort to maximize exchanges of civil sector, build positive image toward Korea, and keep interests of Mongolia citizens concerning Korea. For this event, cultural exchange agreement was concluded with Ulaanbaatar in a bid to strengthen cultural ties between Mongolia and Korea.
