  Top Hallyu group MBLAQ, K-pop diva Ailee who is making it big in Japan, Whee Sung, and Alexander put on a flashy K-pop stage this year while the non-verbal comedy group Ong-Als entertained the audience with a performance that transcended national and language barriers. In an effort to promote cultural exchange between the two countries, there was also a joint dance performance by Korean dance group T.M.F. and top students of a local dance school. Rapper NewKo and DJ FiLi, who are both well-known throughout Oceania, delighted the audience with their performances. On the eve of the festival, Ong-Als and Alexander led a Hangeul school while a K-pop dance school welcomed participants to learn more about Korean culture. The dance school became full within a day after it started registration and the Hangeul school almost immediately, attesting to the enthusiasm of Hallyu fans in Australia.
