  • Hosted by Canadian Music Week Inc. and co-organized by Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange and DFSB Kollective, the 2012 Canadian Music Week’s official event, 2012 Canadian Music Festival (CMF) took place in Toronto from March 21-25. CMF, one of the most influential entertainment events in North America, contributes immensely to the global music industry and draws in more than 900 artists from 40 countries across the world. Established in 1983, it celebrated its 30th anniversary this year with diverse music performances. The Korean team of musicians also participated in the celebration and put on a stage of mainstream music and indie music at KOOLHAUS on March 21. Most of the artists who participated in CMF were bands, but the Korean team consisted of both indie bands and K-pop singers to present the diversity of Korean music to the global music fans.
