First glimpse of Song Kang-ho in “Snowpiercer”

The first stills of the stars of “Snowpiercer” have been revealed by CJ E&M when it released passport photos of the characters of Bong Jun-ho’s “Snowpiercer” online on April 9.

“Snowpiercer” is Bong’s overseas project that gained a lot of attention from its planning stage, especially because Korean actor Song Kang-ho and actress Go Ah-sung were cast alongside Hollywood stars like Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton. In the picture, Song Kang-ho appears in ragged clothes with tousled hair and a long beard. He looks tired and lonely, smoking a cigarette in one corner of the train.

Go Ah-sung, appearing as Yona, is wearing a black hood over her head against a dark background. There is surprise and fear on her face.

Captain America in “The Avengers,” Chris Evans, takes a completely different role in “Snowpiercer.” He appears as Curtis who looks unshaven and dirty. The stills and brochure of “Snowpiercer” were also delivered to moviegoers who participated in the “Snowpiercer” ticket event last January.

The movie was filmed from April to July last year and will come to theaters this summer.
