'A Werewolf Boy' Charms the Audience
The director's cut of "A Werewolf Boy" (director Cho Seong-hee) was released on December 6. Along with th rerelease of the movie, the director and the lead actors also met the audience at the theaters. "A Werewolf Boy" hit the 6.5 million admission mark in the shortest time as a Korean romance movie. The director's cut features a new ending scene that the audience has requested for.
The extended edition features a new version of the ending scene between Cheol-soo (Song Joong-ki) and Sun-i (Park Bo-yeong) as well as an extra scene that gives more depth to the antagonist Ji-tae (Yoo Yeon-seok) who keeps the last half of the movie gripped in suspense. Episodes on the werewolf boy with the girl's family and with the neighbors have also been added.
Now all eyes are on the extended edition of "A Werewolf Boy" to see what further records it will set for the Korean romance genre.
