KBS drama “The Princess’ Man” ended up victorious at the 2013 New York TV Festival.

KBS announced on April 10 that three of its programs were awarded at the 2013 New York TV Festival, which took place last April 9 (local time) at 7 p.m. in Las Vegas. “KBS Special-Kim Jong-il” (directors Lee Jae-jeong, Yu Jong-hun) won the Silver World Medal for TV documentary/information program section, “Icarus’s Dream” (director Kim Hyeong-un) won the Bronze World Medal for sports category, and “The Princess’s Man” (director Kim Jeong-min) won the Bronze World Medal for TV drama category.

Having its 55th anniversary this year, the New York TV Festival is an international awards ceremony that encompasses all TV genres including news, documentaries, dramas, and entertainment shows. This year, works from more than 50 countries were considered for the awards.
