KBS 2TV weekend series “My Daughter Seo-young” and MBC’s entertainment show “Infinite Challenge” are the two most popular TV programs as voted by Koreans. Research group Korea Gallup conducted a survey from February 25–28 to find out the most popular TV programs in Korea. The survey was answered by 1216 men and women of 19 years of age and over. The most popular TV program in February was “My Daughter Seo-young” with 12.2%, thus moving up a spot from January.
The drama was particularly popular among women in their forties and fifties (24% and 27% respectively), as well as with homemakers (19%). “Infinite Challenge,” which ranked first in the survey taken in January, came in second place in February with 11.3%. It is the most popular TV program for people in their twenties (men 29%, women 37%) and college students (35%).
SBS entertainment show “Running Man” (7.4%) came in third, MBC drama “Horse Doctor” (6.7%) came in fourth, and KBS 2TV entertainment show “One Night and Two Days” (6.3%) came in fifth. “Running Man” is popular among people in their twenties and college students, “Horse Doctor” among men in their fifties, and “One Night and Two Days” among women in their fifties, blue collar workers, and homemakers.
