The heart-racing love story of Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye is grabbing the viewers’ attention. In the drama “The Inheritors,” Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye appear as teenagers, but their love story is already stirring the hearts of not only teens, but also viewers in their twenties and thirties.

In the second episode of SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Inheritors,” Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) showed interest in Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye) for the first time, building up anticipation for how their relationship will develop. Kim Tan takes Cha Eun-sang to his house for the night when she cannot get in touch with her sister Eun-seok (Yun Jin-seo). Although their first meeting was a dramatic one, Kim Tan finds himself interested in Eun-sang. He acts aloof, but helps her out and looks after her attentively. Next morning, when he spots her watching the view by the swimming pool, he watches her as if almost mesmerized.

“The Inheritors” was quick to get the relationship of Kim Tan and Cha Eun-sang going from the beginning. Kim Tan began to show interest in Eun-sang in the first episode when he saw her fighting with her sister. Since then, he has stayed by Eun-sang, helping her out of trouble. Living alone in a foreign country, Kim Tan is drawn to this girl who has jumped into his life. 

Although the two characters are still in their teens, their love story that has just started is already promising something intense. Moreover, Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye are portraying their characters so adeptly that it is easy for the viewers to become engrossed in the story. Lee Min-ho’s playful yet somewhat sad expressions, in particular, have the older female viewers hooked. The viewers are waiting to see how the love story of two very different characters with their own pains will unfold.
