KBS web drama “Prince of Prince” went on the air for the first time on the 8th via TV CAST. Adapted from a Naver webtoon of the same name, “Prince of Prince” (original creators Jea/SE) is a comedy about two perfect guys who are fighting for the survival of a game company called Castle Soft. The drama is directed by Shin Joo-hwan, a winner at the Toronto International Film Festival, and stars FT Island’s Choi Jong-hoon, Yuna of AOA, and Lim Yun-ho.
In the first episode, MS Company’s heir apparent Park Si-hyun (Choi Jong-hoon) returns to Korea after spending 5 years overseas and finds that his precious younger sister Yuna (Yuna of AOA) is addicted to gaming. He heads over to a cosplay event to find his sister and meets Lee Mong-ryong (Lim Yun-ho), the man in the photos that cover Yuna’s room, and so begins an intense rivalry between the two men.
Viewers left their comments after the first episode aired. “It’s interesting to watch the webtoon as a web drama,” “He perfectly depicted ‘Prince of Prince’ webtoon’s Park Si-hyun,” “It’s eye candy to see boys straight from the comic,” “Looking forward to the next episode” and so forth.
“Prince of Prince” is co-produced by Shim Entertainment and Y Lab, a comic contents agency that planned and created numerous popular webtoons, including “Fashion King,” “Joseon Royal Talk” and “Prince of Prince.”
Y Lab team explained that the original creator Jea is participating in the web drama to bring out the charm of the original work. “I hope the viewers will enjoy ‘Prince of Prince’ from the first to the very last episode.”
