Singer-actress Jang Na-ra often appeared in a role as a student role because of her incredibly young looks that hardly match her real age. Now, she's back as a high school teacher in "School 2013." It's a new season of the "School" series that began 13 years ago. Highly popular among teens, "School" is also known to have produced some of the hottest stars in the industry today. For her role in the drama, Jang Na-ra even had meetings with real school teachers and studied their actual lessons. She appears as Jeong In-jae, the homeroom teacher in a class of troublemakers.  

"School 2013" aims to depict the "real" school of today, with all its violence, bullying, vicious academic demands, suicide cases, and other problems that afflict schools and teenagers. In the drama, Jeong In-jae is in her fifth year as a temporary teacher. She may look young and small, but she will stick by her principles of what's right and wrong. When she takes the class of troublemakers that other teachers cannot control, Jeong In-jae is in for a challenge that tests her role as a teacher.

Jang Na-ra often played the role of a cute, cheerful heroine because of her looks. But this time, she would appear in a character that suits her real age. "School 2013" is expected to reveal the real side of schools that students keep to themselves and hide from the adults.
