TVXQ member Jung Yun-ho is taking a step forward as an actor in the MBC period drama “The Night Watchman’s Journal” (writers Yoo Dong-yun, Bang Ji-young, Kim Sun-hee, directors Lee Ju-hwan, Yun Ji-hoon). In the episode that aired on the 14th, Mu-seok (Jung Yun-ho) gained the ability to see ghosts, but found himself unable to do martial arts without pain. Jung Yun-ho plays the role of the king’s night watchman who is also the best swordsman in Joseon. He is praised for mastering technically demanding action as well as the subtler, detailed emotional expressions.
Although it is his first period drama, Jung Yun-ho has completely immersed himself in the story and is leading the drama along with the main characters Lee Rin (Jung Il-woo), Do-ha (Go Sung-hee), and Su-ryeon (Seo Ye-ji). Of course, Jung Yun-ho’s good looks that are perfect for the period drama have played a part in capturing the female viewers. With just two more episodes to go, Jung Yun-ho will have to show how Mu-seok will overcome his sudden challenge. The story is heading towards its climax as “The Night Watchman’s Journal” comes to an end on the 21st.
