Shin, Seunghun is coming back after 13 years with his own song titled ‘That’s me.’

Shin, Seunghun, is making a return to song writing after 13 years with his own song titled ‘That’s me.’ Singer-song writer, Shin, Seunghun is coming back to represent his own new title song from his upcoming original album titled ‘I am.’ On the morning of the 22nd, he released a photo via SNS with handwritten lyrics on it. “I’d stopped writing lyrics for a long time because I was feeling dull. I tried to challenge myself again after taking a hiatus.” Shin unveiled one part of the lyrics of ‘That’s me’ in the released picture, which is the title song on his new album. This will be his 11th album overall and his first in 9 years, and it will be released to the public at midnight on the 28th. The hand-written lyrics will make people feel nostalgic emotions.

The last song published by Shin where he was himself involved in composing the lyrics was ‘If love can break up.’ It was the title song of his 8th album 13 years ago in 2002 and it had his fans in expectation and excitement. Actually, Shin continuously composed the title songs for his albums but also produced new music by working with outside song-writers and composers. Especially, he wrote both the words and music for his new title song, displaying his unique capabilities.
As a song-writer, he produced famous hits such as ‘Reflected in your smile,’ ‘Invisible love,’ ‘Where you only have a little higher,’ ‘Like someone in legend,’ etc., by himself, so his new song ‘That’s me’ is mounting great expectations as well.

This 11th original album is especially exceptional because it had been prepared over a long period of 9 years, and it will be a chance to look back at Shin’s music career that has endured consistently for 25 years. On account of the album being released in two parts, part I on the 29th; and the part II in beginning of November; it will allow him some time to reflect on his career in music and turn on a spotlight on his thoughts about the next direction to pursue.
