With his first solo album coming up, Jung Yong-hwa is already the hottest name among the Chinese media. When his agency opened a teaser site of his 4-colored collaborations on the official homepage, China’s major news portals jumped in the race to bring the news to the local audience. 

The largest portal site in China, Sina.com, posted an article called “CN Blue’s Jung Yong-hwa’s Long-awaited Solo Album Collaboration with 4 Musicians” on the main page. Jung Yong-hwa made the headline of another major portal Sohu.com with the article “Special 4-Colored Collaboration with Esteemed Musicians.” China’s largest music site YinYueTai also posted the article “Jung Yong-hwa Collaborates with 4 Musicians for His Solo Album” on the main page and covered the news in depth. Other local press and media outlets have already reported about Jung Yong-hwa’s upcoming album.   

This kind of reaction comes after the mere launch of the teaser site, serving as a proof of the size and enthusiasm of Jung Yong-hwa’s Chinese fandom. His first collaboration has been revealed to be Yang Dong-geun, and needless to say, as the other three members are revealed one by one, China’s response to Jung Yong-hwa’s upcoming album will become more intense.
