YG Confirms PSY’s Recording Is Over…Ready for Comeback

K-pop singer PSY has recently completed recording his new release. According to a high official of YG Entertainment (YG hereafter), PSY has completed all his recording and is currently busy making plans for the music video. What is different from his “Gentleman” release is that this time, PSY will reveal not just one but several songs one after another.

Meetings for the music videos of PSY’s new songs are in full swing at YG. PSY has been preparing long and hard for the new releases during the long hiatus after the world hit “Gangnam Style” last year and “Gentleman” early this year.

“Gangnam Style,” with 1.8 billion views on YouTube as of December 13, is defending its world record, which will probably remain unbroken for years. “Gentleman” is ranked fifth with 600 million views on YouTube.

PSY will hold a concert at Olympics Gymnasium in Bangi-dong, Seoul, from December 21 to 25. His days are full with preparations for his concerts as well as for his new songs, which will be released soon.

Considering the current situation, PSY will be able to release his new songs as early as in December, or more likely, in January. Fans and musicians in Korea as well as abroad are eagerly waiting to see what other phenomena and records PSY will make with his new songs after such painstaking and long preparation stage.
