Boy group Block B successfully held their first live show in Japan. Titled “Happy New Year Live Show in Japan,” the gig took place on the 16th and 17th at the Zepp Diver City in Tokyo and drew 5,000 spectators.

With their Japanese official debut single “Very Good” slated for release on the 21st, all the members of Block B surprised the audience by communicating fluently in Japanese throughout the concert. Their concept “warukaki,” or bad boys, was a success, and their performances had the audience completely hooked and thrilled.

Among the audience were famous artists like AKB4 and Golden Bomber who had come to watch Block B. Air rock band Golden Bomber’s member and power blogger Utahiroba Jun was full of praises, writing on his blog that if he had to choose just one K-pop group, it would be Block B.

Block B will release their official Japanese debut single “Very Good” on the 21st and focus on Japanese promotion work for a while, starting with the “Block B Special Week” from the 19th to the 25th.
