Girls’ Generation’s new song “Catch Me If You Can” has struck a chord.
Girls’ Generation will release their new song “Catch Me If You Can” on the coming 10th. According to SM Entertainment, the new song will be released simultaneously in Korea and Japan. “Catch Me If You Can” is an upbeat EDM with an addictive tune, daring lyrics, and an original sound. The music video will capture another arresting performance by the group.
News of the girls’ comeback came after YG Entertainment hinted at BIGBANG’s return to the K-pop scene on May 1. The two groups have set the stage for a big match. Two other big names, EXO and Miss A, released “Call Me Baby” and “Only You” respectively on March 30. The duel between SM Entertainment’s EXO, who are dominating the Asian music market, and Miss A whose member Suzy has recently stolen the spotlight with her romance with actor Lee Min-ho will be succeeded by Girls’ Generation and BIGBANG.
Moreover, all four groups’ promotions are likely to overlap, calling for a real showdown in the K-pop scene.
