Lee Hi burst into the music scene in November with her debut single "1, 2, 3, 4" and topped the music charts of Melon, Naver, Daum, Dosirak, and Mnet for that month. She stayed on to number one seat of the weekly charts on Melon for a whole month and even topped the monthly tally. She was also the first rookie this year to take the triple crown (number 1 for three consecutive weeks) on Mnet's "M Countdown."

 "Lee Hi's second single 'Scarecrow' is also ranked at the top end of music charts," said Lee Hi's management agency, YG. "All her songs are ranked in the top ten. She's a new name to look out for." Lee Hi handled her two completely different songs perfectly with her unique voice color.

Lee Hi was the runner-up on SBS audition program "K-pop Star" and signed with YG Entertainment.
