Girls’ Generation (Yoona, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny, Suyoung, Seohyeon) is said to postpone the release of their new Japanese single. SM Entertainment announced that the release date of the girl group’s seventh single “Love&Girls” has been postponed from May 29 to June 19.
The delay was inevitable because a last-minute change was made to the music video. The initial plan was to include the music video of “Beep Beep,” which was featured in the group’s sixth album, but the plan was changed to include the music video of “Love&Girls” instead on the limited seventh album.
“We were told by the Japanese management that they had to postpone the date because they changed the music video,” a staff member of SM Entertainment told “Star News.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation successfully completed their second Japanese arena tour that drew in 200,000 fans in total, with the final concert in Osaka on April 21.
