Korean rock band No Brain will debut in the USA with the esteemed record producer who discovered Madonna, Seymour Stein.

Stein announced that he signed a record contract with No Brain at the 2013 Seoul International Music Fair on October 11. Stein is a record producer who discovered pop diva Madonna and the pioneer of punk music, Ramones. He established Sire Records in 1966, and is currently the vice president of the global record label, Warner Music.

“I fell in love with the group when I saw their performance in Toronto, Canada, in March,” he said. “After watching their New York gig, I got the contract started.”

He continued: “I don’t have much talent. I only have the know-how to recognize talent. No Brain, like Madonna, has a natural talent. The recording will take place in Los Angeles, USA.”

In response, Lee Seong-woo, the voice of the group, said, “We are really looking forward to working with world-renowned figures in the music industry. We will do our best to show the potential of Korean rock music and play a helpful role for other Korean bands when they go abroad.”
