2NE1’s CL, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, and world-famous rapper Snoop Dog will star in PSY’s new music video. On March 13, PSY’s management agency YG Entertainment told News En, “CL, G-Dragon, and Snoop Dog partook in the filming of PSY’s new music video.” YG Entertainment added, “PSY began working on his new song last year, and the filming for the music video is complete. But we don’t have a date for his comeback yet. We are still discussing the details of his comeback.”
PSY has been drawing attention recently after he uploaded photos of the set of his music video on Twitter. The photos showed G-Dragon and Snoop Dog at a billiard room and karaoke room in Korea. Fans were delighted when they heard that the muse of PSY’s new music video will be none other than CL. When PSY’s previous music videos for “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” became sensational, 4Minute’s Hyun-ah and Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain drew just as much attention. CL has been chosen as the next muse, and already expectations are high to see what she will bring to PSY’s music video this time. Meanwhile, CL, G-Dragon, YG’s main producer Teddy, and CHOICE37 will feature in world-famous dubstep DJ Skrillex’s forthcoming album.
Skrillex performed at a Korean music festival last year and left a strong impression on Korean music fans. He is the most celebrated DJ to emerge recently, driving the minor dubstep wave in the mainstream music market and winning three Grammy Awards for two consecutive years. YG family will feature in “Dirty Vibe” of Skrillex’s new album “Recess,” set to be released on March 18. The song also features DJ Diplo who worked on G-Dragon’s “Coup d-Etat” and GD&TOP’s “Knock Out.”
