Actor cum singer Kim Hyun-joong will make his comeback in Japan on June 18. On April 28, Japan’s Nikkan Sports and Sankei Sports reported that Kim Hyun-joong will release “Hot Sun” on June 18 after being away from the scene for a year.

Kim’s new song is a rock number produced by Steven Lee. His coupling track “Timing” features rapper Hidaka Mitsuhiro of Japanese group AAA. The new album comes in five first-print limited editions and six regular editions, and the album jacket will reveal Kim Hyun-joong’s striking transformation.

Prior to his comeback, Kim Hyun-joong will appear at “Inspiring Generation” event at Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan, on May 31.
