Girl group KARA, now a quartet with Young-ji joining the former members, will return in August. Their agency DSP Media told “Joy News 24” on the 11th that KARA will come back in mid-August. The group will return with a new song by Duble Sidekick, the team that has produced countless hits, including A Pink’s “Mr. Chu,” Junggigo’s “Want U,” Gary and Jung In’s “Your Scent” and god’s “The Lone Duckling” and “Sky Blue Promise.”
“We received many songs from composers, but we thought Duble Sidekick’s piece was the best choice for KARA’s title track,” said DSP Media. KARA has already filmed the music video. The original trio and newly recruited Young-ji worked hard on the new album and are now busy getting ready for the comeback.
KARA will release their new album in August and embark on a Japanese tour in October. After former members Nicole and Kang Ji-young left the group in January this year, MBC Music aired a survival program called “KARA Project-KARA the Beginning” to find a new member. DSP trainee Young-ji was selected as the new member, completing the four-member KARA. The new KARA will meet their fans in August.
